Doug Johnson
Senior Director Biogen
Douglas Johnson is Senior Director of Chemical Biology & Proteomics at Biogen in Cambridge, MA, where he leads efforts to apply chemical biology and proteomics to drug discovery. Prior to joining Biogen in 2018, he spent 18 years at Pfizer, most recently as Senior Scientific Director and Head of Chemical Biology. Doug conducted NIH postdoctoral research at Harvard University with Professor David A. Evans and earned his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from The Scripps Research Institute under Professor Dale L. Boger. He holds a BS in chemistry summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota and is an author or inventor on more than 100 publications and patents.
